When I am surrounded by people

There have been times when you might have been in the middle of a crowd but have felt the most isolated and alone.
Maybe you have looked around at all of these people surounding you and thought:

You don’t really know me. You don’t know my fears or even my dreams.

Perhaps you’ve even wondered if there was any way to make a connection – but if there was, would you even want to connect?

There is someone who does know you… knows every thought, fear and dream you have ever had.

Someone who has been there every time you laughed and has been there when you cried.

This someone is the one who made you.

He wants you to know that you are not alone because he loves you.

The truth is that we are lost, we are isolated, or separated from God by our rebellion against him and his laws. But the God who made you loves you and knows how to bring you back you when you are lost.

“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’ Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.” (Luke 15:4-7 ESV)

God has been “searching” for a restored relationship with you. You can discover what it means to be reunited with the God who loves you.
