I need to have the perfect body
These days, there is so much emphasis on physical attractiveness, it’s no wonder we equate love with having the perfect body.
‘If I have the perfect body, she will not only love me, she will be faithful to me.’
So, is it really a perfect body that makes you worthy of love?
Do we really believe that genuine and lasting love is reserved for the top 5% or even 10% who enjoy incredible beauty?
In one sense the answer is: Nothing.
When we are considering ourselves, shouldn’t we look at what our Creator says?
When I took this challenge, here is what I could see God telling me in these verses:
I am the Creator and you are my creation. I breathed into you the breath of life (Genesis 2:7).
I created you in my own image (Genesis 1:27).
I knit you together in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13).
I know the number of hairs on your head. Before you speak a word, I know it (Matthew 10:30; Psalm 139:4).
You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14)

Aren’t these amazing things to hear from our Creator? He’s telling us that he loves us purely because he is the one who made us.
God created you and that means you were made to be known by Him and loved by Him. Learn more about how you can begin a relationship with Him here.
