I am most afraid of failure

Every person has a different definition of what “success” means to them.

What if you never find or accomplish your purpose in life?

The pressure of living up to the expectations of others and yourself can be crushing.
You may seem to fail every day. So, what is the point of our existence?
Well, what if it’s true that the only opinion that matters is that of our Creator God?
If so, then he made our ultimate purpose in life clear when he said:
”You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.”
And, equally important,
”Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Matthew 22:37, 39

Success redefined

Seeing life through the eyes of our Creator turns our idea of success and failure upside down. Our ultimate purpose is to know him, to love him and to love others.
Collecting achievements, material wealth and status is temporary and does not satisfy.
We are made for eternal things that reach beyond this life.
The only way to be connected to eternity is through a relationship with our eternal God.
And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.
1 John 2:17

Finding the way

You can have all the outward signs of a successful life, but if you do not know and love God, you will find only emptiness in the end. Likewise, even when the world would define you as a failure, a relationship with God makes life rich and meaningful. You are invited into a life with him that goes beyond this life. The invitation comes through Jesus, the Son of God, who is “the way, and the truth, and the life” (John 14:6)

Are you willing to find out how Jesus overcomes your failures to make this invitation possible?
