I can't live a full life because I am struggling financially

If I had a good job everything would be better.

But I feel stuck, hopeless, like I am not good enough.

If I just had more money, I wouldn’t have to struggle anymore.
It is true that a steady income provides for many of our needs.

But even people with good, high paying jobs are anxious and experience feelings of emptiness.

Maybe we need to set our hope on something, or someone, steadier and truer.

The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time.
Psalms 145:15

The Provider

When we do our best but are still struggling, we may start to lose hope.
The burden is especially heavy if we have family to take care of.
Even with a job, the possibility of losing it or having extra expenses may still cause anxiety.
Is it possible to find peace by putting our hope completely in God?
His Word says that if we trust in him and live for him, he will provide for us.
Jesus said:
“That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing?
Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?
Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?”
Matthew 6:25-27

The Solution

So we see that God knows all of our needs. We matter to our Heavenly Father.

Every day has its own hardship, but it is possible to live in hope instead of worry, if we trust in God as our provider.
